Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Walala (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Vault mobile application (the “App”). Please also read our Children's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. Overview

Vault is a private space for your files, photos, and notes. Most of your content stays on your device unless you choose optional features that connect to third-party services.

2. Information We Process

• Files and content you import, create, edit, or store, including photos, videos, documents, and notes
• App settings and security preferences, such as password lock, stealth mode, app disguise, theme, and intrusion alert options
• Authentication data used to protect the App (for example, a passcode hash stored in Keychain, and optional Face ID / Touch ID through the system)
• Optional intrusion-alert captures stored locally if you enable that feature
• Device permissions you grant solely to provide related features
• Optional cloud-account tokens and metadata when you sign in to services such as iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Baidu Pan
• Diagnostic information the operating system may associate with crashes or App Store feedback

We do not operate a separate advertising or cross-app tracking profile. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private files for advertising.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

By default, your files and App settings are stored locally on your device. If you use iCloud backup or third-party cloud services, related files or credentials are processed by those providers under their own policies. The in-App privacy browser is designed not to keep a lasting local browsing history; downloads you save are stored in your App files.

4. Sharing

• When you initiate a transfer (share sheet, export, cloud upload/download, or Wi‑Fi computer import)
• When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
• When needed for service providers acting on our behalf under appropriate safeguards (for example App Store distribution)

5. Security

We use reasonable platform measures, including Keychain storage for sensitive secrets and optional biometric unlock. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your device passcode, App password, and recovery information.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). See the Children's Privacy Policy.

7. Your Choices

• Revoke permissions in iOS Settings
• Disable optional security features
• Delete files in the App or clear App data from Settings
• Uninstall the App or sign out of connected cloud accounts

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
