Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 24, 2026 · Operator: Walala

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Walala (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Vault mobile application (the “App”).

The App is designed as a private space for your files, photos, and notes. Most of your content stays on your device unless you choose to use optional features that connect to third-party services.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the App, the following categories may be processed:

How we use information

We use information only to provide, maintain, and improve the App’s features you request, including private file storage, security and disguise features, media playback, backups, and optional cloud transfers.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private files for advertising.

Where your data is stored

By default, your files and App settings are stored locally on your device (and, if you enable stealth mode, in a separate local space).

If you use iCloud backup or third-party cloud services, the related files or credentials are processed by those providers under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those third-party services.

The in-App privacy browser is designed not to keep a lasting local browsing history; downloads you save are stored in your App files.

Sharing

We share information only when:

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures available on the platform, including Keychain storage for sensitive secrets and optional biometric unlock through the system frameworks.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your device passcode, App password, and recovery information.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). Do not provide personal information of children through the App.

Your choices

You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings, disable optional security features, delete files in the App, clear App data from Settings, uninstall the App, or sign out of connected cloud accounts.

Deleting the App removes local App data from the device, except data you previously exported or stored with third-party services.

International users

If you access the App from outside the region where we operate, your information may be processed in your device locale and by third-party services you choose to connect.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will be revised when changes are published in the App.
